Hi guys.

I have a 58 plate L&K.

When driving along a few times now the radio has made a very loud pop/bang like a massive stone hit the windscreen or a brick at hit the car.

me and my partener both jump every time.

I have heard of this fault on old radios but skoda say its fixed and only happens when its turned on, mine does it randomly.

any ideas?

yea i have found a few but all seem to have been fixed by this upgraded software which i thought would be fitted as standard by now.

any way i can find out?

The dealers here in Bulgaria do not have a software solving this problem .

The same thing has happened to me - only once so far. I read that there is a software upgrade that will sort it. Might have to take a trip back to the stealer.

I've had this happen once in the first few weeks of having the car and agree it comes as a suprise:eek: . It hasn't happen again and i have had the software update.

I've had this twice. Radio cuts out after it.

I don't know if I've had the software upgraded but it's not happened for a long time.
