Carbon Interior Trim

Featured Replies

living in france wouldnt be a problem, once i'm happy with these I will gladly do more sets for whoever wants them... I'll obviously need your original bits to cover though, unless I get a stock of them which I will try and do..

all the best

Looks awsome mate.

I was just about to ask if you were planning on getting a set in as stock then ask for peoples originals plus payment to speed up delivery (no one wants all the gubbings on show for too long it attracts too much attention).

I would be interested, please keep posting

I've got dans old set at the minute, so could start on that, although i think its got one of the clips missing from one side, but will still be fine... I'm aware that these need really to be right from the start so want to do one more as Dan said the bottom part of the main facia where the aircon controls are was fight, this is because the tolerances are vitually nil, something that now I am aware of I can try and combat..

with anything like this its always best to expect to do a slight amount of "tweeking".. you should have seen how much I had to do on mine lol.. heres a couple of pics of my interior.. all home made in my dining room lol...

Hi Nanard, I'm trying to source some parts now, so if you bear with me I will see if I can get some and put your name on them...

I will keep you informed..

please be aware though I NEVER acept payment up front, due to the fact i do this as a hobby and not as a business I cant guarantee turnaround times, so basically I only take payment off people when the items are ready to post... I also offer a full money back guarantee on everything, no questions asked..

yes, the door handles for example

can you pop a picture on here please so I can see them

Tony

I don't have any pics, but on mine the door cards are all plastic and cloth, the pulls/amrests are mostly soft-wouch, and the interior handles are chrome steel.

Tony

seen on superskoda (it's carbon look)

And the driver's door part looks like it's for an RHD Elegance or vRS. The rest of the set also looks like RHD parts. Oh and like carbon-look film rather than like real carbon.

no, it's for LHD cars

yeah seen these before, the big bit with the switches is like a hard rubber, and to be honest i wouldnt touch that as its so fiddly with the witches i couldnt guarantee it'd be perfect..

the other 3 bits are doable though depending on what tey are made of... although without the big bit may look pants..

also door handle surrounds are usually ok to do, again not loads of money either...

I've managed to source another 2 sets of these, one is missing the ashtray though, so I will crack on with getting them covered once the next one is done and test fitted on dans car..

Tony

ashtray = cendrier?

no problem, just tell me what you need

I think so; it's the one with the flip up lid at the very bottom of the console, under the heater controls. I use it to keep my mobile phone in when I'm driving!

ok;)

i have a question, are these parts the same for the LHD and the RHD version? if not, i'll have to send you mines, i think they're not the same...

  • Author

to be honest mate I havent got a clue, can someone confirm please??

Tony

The LHD and RHD trim parts do have different partnumbers,1U1 for LHD and 1U2 for RHD. Parts are not symmetrical either so pretty sure they are not interchangeable.

  • Author

I think you may need to send me your bits first Nanard... although I will have a look to try and source a set from a LHD car..

all the best
