Been to collect some parts for my own Octy VRS at Horton Skoda in Lincoln, and spotted THREE race blue VRS Hatchbacks on the front of the forecourt, one of which had a DSG box, so I assume it's a CR170 diesel. Not sure whether the other two are PD or CR diesels, or petrol.

Believe me, I am not on their payroll, but it's a shame to see such gorgeous cars sat on the forecourt when they could be out on the road.

He sold me my Black Octy vRS back in August last year.

Top bloke - older gentleman but certainly knows his stuff and sold me my car with no pressure at all.

Also when it came to the test drive he simply handed over the keys to me and the wife and said "See you in about 30 minutes or so" and off we went.

I think Skoda dealers are some of the best out there. When I went to test drive mine, the salesman just handed me the keys and said take it out for as long as you like. (see you in two weeks then lol)

Hence forth and make silly offers folks - January is quiet quiet quiet for the dealers, and in a spell as bad as the current one, quiet is the last thing they need. I reckon £15k could secure a diesel, maybe £14k for a petrol...

It's all media hype causing any issues to persist or worsen.

Been down to Hortons again this morning, and all three are still there - the DSG has £2860 off list price, and the two manuals £2400 off list.

Anyone considering the limited edition VRS should maybe look at these as well - they look sooooo much nicer in Race Blue, believe me.

That's what I implied - go for the race blue as they look a king to the grey limited edition, and, yes, the LE wheels do look cr*p
