Hi,

Bought my Felicia a couple of weeks ago, this weekend the sidelights wouldn't turn off.

Is this a common problem? If so what's the most likely cause, switch relay, bad earth? Thought I would ask first as whatever it is, it will be the one I would plan to to last...

That was my thought, just don't want to start hauling the dash out to find its a common problem of a relay going under the bonnet or something.

Sounds like a sticking switch and as Captain Sisko says, the switch just pops out, so no major dashboard removal to do.

ah didn't realise took the cap off it and it looked as if you had to take the rest out from behind, will pull harder and see what happens tommorrow. Strange thing is they sometimes do turn off but then turn themselves back on after sitting for a couple of hours:confused:

could be water in the fusebox, similar to the felicias, shorting out the sidelight circuit

Thanks for the replies, it was a sticky switch, took it apart and there was something stuck in it, it flew over my head when i opened it, but it now works perfectly good ol skoda
