Featured Replies

As the title, finally found a Black Fabia VRS on a 56plate, full leather and cruise control with 24k miles on.

From a skoda dealer, £1000 off screen price.

Should get some on the weekend when I pick it up.

I rang round the dealers to see if they had any and they said that they had this coming in, so I waited... and waited...

It hadn't been prepared so it was mucky, but I think thats better as you see an honest car.

We were the first people to see and test drive it.

Its getting the rear doors sealed and all the checks tomorrow.

12 months warranty and 6 months tax

I've seen the oil thread about what oil I can use... where should I get it from and how much are people paying?

Main dealers can sell you the oil in 1 litre cans. About £12 IIRC.

On the nose. Not too bad I think? They said they'd put it on at £8495 if I hadn't have taken it.

Well done. Makes me think my deal wasn't quite as good as I thought. Which dealer?

Hello KIDD,

Glad your a happy bunny with your new car.

As to engine oil, recently I bought 5litres VW 505.01 spec.(stamped on front of container) fully synthetic 5W 40 in "Halfords" and it were their own brand, £ 36.00

Be careful, as there is a fully synthetic 5W 40 without the VW 505.01 spec.

To add, you could buy a 1 litre for £14.99 same spec, same "Halfords"

Welcome to VRS happy bunny group.

Simpson in Colne. It wasn't advertised as it had been taken in part ex and they were waiting for the private plate to come off it. The salesman kept the keys away from the other salesmen and waited for me to arrive. He said he'd had alot of people phoning round for one. Parkers say £8300 for a standard spec 56 plate.
