Hmm, don't know yet how much of it is used for eg. 100 miles, but if it will consume considerable amounts I think I will start doing alcohol on my own isopropyl is indeed quite expensive, and at devil's own they say that cheap vodka can be used, so why not to make one on my own Anyway, first I need to check on what brew ratio the power increase will be best.

6gph is hell of a lot! I only have the 3gph nozzle and that chucks enough in for me on full throttle.

Now it sound more real for me, I made about 20miles today, and didn't push the throttle too much, going max 100mph and it consumed about one gallon of the brew:eek:

Could get a tad more out of it by raising the startup and full-flow points but it's doing so well with the 49 deg C temps we're enjoying out here in Bahrain ATM....

weather permiting i will be fitting my 5ltr washer tank tomorow and also replacing the check valve with a solinoid valve because im fed up running out and not knowing and then having to bleed the system ... again

oh and i still have about 10 ltrs of methanol left so that should be enough to get a few test runs done

That much would be ok, I have used over 3 liters of brew on about 3 liters of derv. but the system was setup to start at about 0,5 bar:D It gave excellent result, the car ran more soothly and had more power, but I would went bankrupt on isopropyl:cool: Also there were a white smoke pop-outs from the exhaust when stopped accelerating:D

This week maybe I will manage to do some dyno tests.

Anyone got any confirmed increases in bhp/torque figures? Basil, would you say thats the best place for a pre-turbo set up? As myself and Tom.w thought the same (well he did and I just agreed as didnt look into it!)

Hopefully fitting my kit at the weekend, and should get some 1/4 times & RR runs in the coming few weeks.
