Are these normall??

Featured Replies

It could be due to the cold weather, but, does any ones else find that the body panels inside the car seem to be creaking a bit at the moment?? I've found that the drivers side mirror seems to make a "boiiiiinnngggg" noise as I close the door, yet the passanger side the door closed with a nice "whhuuummmppp" noise, with no noise from the passanger side mirror

Am I being paranoid :(

Do a search on creaking door seals - or just give them a light rub over with some silicon on a rag, do the internal door seals and the external ones which close the front to rear doors.

Annoying rattles are part of the Skoda ownership experience.

Mine only rattles when its cold, when its hot outside my car is silent and has no rattles. My glovebox lid is the biggest culprit and at this time of the year rattles away until the interior has warmed up.

Same here,

The glove box lid rattles like a ******* when its really cold and goes away once the heating kicks in.

A small strip of velcro loop side over the parts where it meets reduce glove box noise a good amount :)

Mine's creaking more than normal too (meaning just audible when it's cold enough that I turn the stereo off to listen for ice).
