Do I have Maxidot?

Featured Replies

When I took the car out for the test drive I forgot to ask if it had Maxidot. When I was driving the salesman was unsure if there was enough petrol. He had me press the rocker switch until it showed (I think) range left.

Its an ex demo 1.8TSI Elegance.

Seems like it mate, yeah.

Did it look like this

This will just be the on board computer scrolls through; range, overall mpg, average mph, temperature etc.; displays on both standard and maxidot.

As pic'd by JamesyG is Maxidot.

To be honest I can't remember!! Was on Thursday & just thought about it tonight. I'm at the garage tomorrow anyway - just eager to know.

Depends whether the rectangular readout is full or only half. My VRS doesn't have Maxi-Dot, but I can still get the range by pressing the rocker switch.

Just ask them tomorrow mate - I wouldn't be without my maxidot though - find it very useful - particulary for bluetooth hands free.
