Entries are coming in fast now due to the Robin Hood stages being scapped, so could have an even better entry than before

Credit to RMSC, when bigger rallies fail to go ahead due to lack of entries the Riponian seems to have no problem at all.

Must be a popular event

They have all worked very hard to save it. I think that if it wasn't the 40th anniversary it might not have run, but I might be wrong.

Not sure on that one, but will try and find out.

Ok update, it does look like scruineering will not be at thirsk business centre (had a prior booking). I will know more details after the club meeting tomorrow night. The Rally has a full entry and a healthy reserve list building up, so all we need is a good blessing for a nice warm dry day:thumbup::thumbup:

I was there today and Charlie is out in a reshelled car 400 man hours to build it from wednesday afternoon, so well done MSR.

Car 37 has a new engine fitted (a McRae spec Millington) and is a bit of an animal, the comments were that they needed the emergency service for tyres and fuel!!!! so could be one to watch.

What a top day of rallying yesterday

Think I noticed your black Fabia in Roppa and parked next to the stage at Collage Moor Simon

I was parked near the stage in Roppa with Media pass in the windscreen. There was also another black Fabia VRS floating around.

It was a good days rallying. The club did a damned good job of saving the event.

We were in a black 07 two door Focus TDCI, also with us a light coloured Vectra and a black Audi, can remember the model... you may also of seen a blue go faster transit van with an exhaust the size of a drain pipe..... he was with us, but kept at arms length....lol
