Was wondering if it was possible to replace the radio/cassette in my Fabia with a Symphony CD Player and where I would get one from? I know I can buy an aftermarket one but the don't look as good fitted to the dash and normally are just fiddly.

Best bet is to contact your local Skoda dealer, have a look on ebay and have a look on this fine site in the section for sale or wanted section.

isn't the symphony player coded to your ecu specifically? He may need a code to get it to work

The only code the Symphony needs is specific to the unit itself. It's a straight swap, provided you have this code. A dealer will charge you a fortune for one, but they come up on ebay now and again. You may also have some luck posting in the 'Items Wanted' forum, as quite a few members put in aftermarket stereos.
