Had one on my Fabia with the SMF.

Very good clutches. You get use to the noise at idle.

Pick up was quicker due to the reduction in rotational mass.

Mine juddered a bit at first but needed about 500-600 miles to bed in.

P.S> Mine looked almost identical to yours - Black grill & TT Comps......nice choice!

Amazing pieces of kit... run mines for nearly 30k now... bite is amazing :)

Compared to my friends on a Sachs with DMF they're is no contest

awesome!! i get mine next week!! the standard one has just started to slip so im glad i ordered it

I love my Spec clutch with light flywheel. It's about as harsh as you can get. I don't mind anyone at JKM tomorrow trying it out for size. :D

The helix in my Fabia was awsome, it had soo much bite but it was still as drivable and slippable as a standard clutch.

With front wheel drive you still need to be able to slip the clutch to launch it to limit the wheelspin, luckely my fabia had next to no lag so you could feather the throttle too, i would hate to think what it must be like to have a super on/off clutch and lots of lag to go with it :thumbdwn:

Anyway i was so made up with the Helix that im running the same in the Audi (even though it gets alot more abuse due to the 4wd)
