i've got the chance of buying a pair of front calipers from a Mk5 Golf GTi 2.0 Turbo.

WIll they go on the Fabia? I know that the pcd on the discs will be wrong but that won't be an issue, especially if the calipers are the same as all the other 312mm set-ups as i'll just buy the discs with the right pcd.

I've done a search but so far I've not been able to find an answer.

Do they match what's on the Golf?

Pretty sure they wont. The carriers are quite different being alloy (as are the calipers) on the MK5 and the mountings are different.

Mk5 dont fit, the 312s posted in andy do. They are I believe from a MK4 golf.

Just been to the same breakers and bought a pair of front calipers from an Octavia VRS for £100. Went straight down GSF for a set of plain Brembo discs to go with them. Tidy!
