No will not be going for the first time in 14 years. Last year was a big :thumbdwn: It's not the price it just not as good with so few cars much better to watch BRC. Might do the RAC in November though back to the old days in Yorks,Lakes and Scotland

I've never been to a rally so maybe it's time I did... where can I get some info of prices places to stay etc.

I know every time I've told myself I'll go next year something pops up! I've seen Colin Mcrae doing testing up in the lake district which was very lucky on my behalf as I was only goin there for a walk lol

Yes as Jon says - I shall be there.

Im the events marshal liason so I will be there from Wed am till Sunday night sorting issues and also marshalling on the event.

This years event will be bigger than last years as we have a full entry with reserves - a total of 33 WRCs I believe - and the best entry on any of the WRC rounds plus the SuperRally rules now mean that cars can restart the following legs (without scoring points) if they retire and are fixed so more cars running on Sat and Sunday then before.

We stayed at a Travel Lodge in Caerphilly last year and that was a good location as it was quite off the beaten track, but near enough to motorways to get to any of the stages.

You might find this near to the event, though, that there is very little accommodation left so you may end up staying further out, or borrowing CJ's caravan for the weekend

My feelings and all our motor club members feelings too!

Followed it for decades,but now it's just a shadow of it's former self. Very sad to have seen it go down the pan. :thumbdwn:

Yes C.J it is sad as i used to look forward so much to Nov each year. Its not just Britain's rounds that has changed for the worse. It is still better value to go to the european rounds for approx the same as it would cost you to do Wales Rally GB.

I have heard that they have sold out of some tickets and can only asume that they have reduced further the ticket availabilty for some stages
