Headrest screens

Featured Replies

Has anybody fitted a pair of screens in to the headrests for the rear seat passengers in a MK1 octavia Vrs? just wondering how difficult it would be to do.

I considered it when I got mine as there were lots of these headrest DVD players going fairly cheap on ebay.

The only thing that stopped me was that for a tidy install you would have to run power (and possibly audio) cables through the seats to the 12v lighter socket and I didn't really fancy tearing my nice vRS seats apart to do that!

If you can source a pair of vRS front seats to experiment on or pay £££s to a company that specialize in these installs it will look alright

I'd have thought a re-trimmer could do this properly by unstiching the back of the seat and then putting it all in and putting it back together for less than the cost of a seat.
