i don't know which is the best one to go for.

Best advice I can offer is to try a search. There is loads of up to date info via that route.

i cant say ive heard much bout octavia vrs APR remaps on here, mainly REVO with a couple bluefins.

As already stated Revo and Bluefin seem to be the popular choices on here although I have heard good things about APR from others. Take a look on Forums - uk-mkivs

As has been said, I don't have much to add to, but have a look at the results of the JKM rolling road day on Saturday and that should at least give you a bit of an insight into the world of REVO and Superchips (Bluefin)

Both are very very good imho....

id ignore the bluefin stage 2, the parts needed for the map to run as stated is not present hence the erratic graph, look at the leon bluefin graph that was what my graph looked like prior to me p*ssing round with it.

from what ive experieced from driving both, bluefin is more gradualand progressive, where as revo is very aggressive(definately the faster of the two)

I wouldn't say that REVO was more aggressive. You just get more torque/power earlier and for longer.

by more aggressive i meant it pulled from lower harder and for longer

If your going for stage 1 remap personally i think there is not much between any of the maps on the market. As superted suggests check out JKM rolling road days for the graphs.Very good info on those for people thinking of mapping their motor. Please bear in mind that stage 2 requires aditional hardware to get correct output thou.

thanks for the info peeps

Out of the two - Revo for the adjustability (with an SPS) and I've found it to b more aggressive. The basic stage 1 map with an induction kit is terrific. Stage2+ is in a different league tho ;)

Hi

APR offer a free trial , also as far as I know so do Revo

So may be worth a try before you buy

APR can be switchable with the cruise control too and at the moment we do have some offers on

The Anti theft feature is a good one , so if someone was to pinch your keys then try to steal the car , they could not even get it started :D

Then they might come back in with an iron bar asking why the car won't run and might ask to get it going for them:D

By which time you have found your own Bar/Baseball Bat/Gun rang the Filth Donned Body Armour & Helmet and called up "The Boys" to come give you a hand:rofl::rofl:

If they are that determined they would just put it on a flat bed:rolleyes::P.

Back on Topic: REVO do a 5hr iirc trial and they also have an Anti-Theft system which i use all the time now
