Fabia VRS alloy damage

Featured Replies

Hello all

On the way home from work tonight some b*****d in a range rover was all over my side of the road round a bend, forcing me to swerve to the left.....and into the kerb.

I've now got a lovely big chunk out of my passenger side front alloy and tyre

Does anyone know how much a new Fabia VRS alloy wheel costs? Or does anyone have any experience of having their wheel repaired? I've had a quick look on google but can't find any links to a skoda parts & prices list.

I'm now very annoyed that my lovely Furby has been "violated". Any help appreciated!

Cheers

Tug

Sounds to me like its worth getting a set of four incase you meet the Range Rover again :( Sets of four go on here for around

Welcome to Briskoda.

Bad look with the wheel. :thumbdwn:

Bad luck on the kerbed alloy :(

If you want to take the opertunity to replace the standard alloys with some 16" Octavia vRS alloys to make it a bit different drop me a pm as I have a set for sale :)

Sorry to try to cash in on your bad luck but you can have all 4 for probably less than 1 new one from a Skud dealer and they are in mint condition ;)

Thanks for the replies, got a quote from the Skoda dealer -

Now going to hunt to see if I can get a new one cheaper elsewhere

Let us know if you find a source (or a pair perhaps) as I've had the same thing happen this week! :thumbdwn:

Couldn't find any other sources for new VRS alloys, so am going down the repair route.

I've cleaned the wheel and it doesn't look quite as bad as first thought. I called chipsaway for a quote and their local bloke gave me a call and was very helpful and honest. He didn't think he could do a repair justice, but put me in toch with wicked wheels (www.wickedwheels.co.uk) who look pretty good.

I'm going to try them out. Anyone used them before?

Thanks

Tug

Haven't used them, but heared good things about them.
