Hi all.....I've just put a deposit down on No. 78/100. Collecting it Saturday and I can't wait...it seems fairly standard with the exception of a s/s powerflow exhaust, forge dv, lowered a tad on springs....it drives well, seems solid and goes well, well as well as it can on a test drive lol.

Was looking for a vrs in the next few months but when this came up local I couldn't turn it down. Still find it mad to think there are only 25 rhd models in the world lol....only thing I would say is I wish they made a bit more effort with the plaque on the dash, something similar to the golf anniversary, the WRC one looks very simple.

Once collected I'll get some photos up etc....looking forward to owning it and seeing some of you at the shows, feel free to come and chat if you see me.

yep only 25 but as there not really that much of a special they will never be a money maker if that makes sense !!!

Unfortunately not, although it does still have the green stripe around d the front and rear bumper....oh and a little bit of sticker left behind the rear door handles which I don't think I could bring myself to fully remove lol...

Yeah I understand, just like the exclusivity of them from those in the know.....a little like the corrado storms...

Yeah, i see what you are saying, although it was still born a WRC lol....i was wondering whether you could still get the sticker sets from Skoda, bet they wouldnt be cheap if you could....i was thinking of getting something done to it kinda in homage to the rally connection, just not so in your face......

Like the police cars, just not caned everywhere from cold, raced over speed bumps, picked up scrapes and knocks, footwells full of sugar from their mid morning snack times lol.....

The decals are still available from the dealer but are approx £1000 for the full set.

I think there were some sellers on ebay a while back selling cheap copies though

Looks in good condition from the outside but the footwell could do with a clean... and bin off that induction filter. And it's missing the white spider alloys.

Cruise control isn't a massive selling point as you can fit the factory fit cruise control easily enough. Otherwise it's probably about the right asking price for one with the decals at that mileage.

50/100 up for sale at Horton Skoda Lincoln £6000 ! Looks a lot different to the pics posted on this thread Sept 2009. Stickers all gone and alloys now black. 64,000 miles - exterior looks perfect.

Yup still not decided if mine goes but I would price a Ltd edition WRC at between 1500-2500. Maybe a bit more? But it isn't a ferrari. So with generation 3 octavia imminent mark ones are down in the banger territory.

Probem I have is I want to sell.....then take it for a spin and just can't get rid of it.
