I am about to fit a mfd2 to my octavia II vrs and i have reversing sensors i just wondered if they will still work ok with the sat nav screen as on my stream a pic comes up when revesing?:confused:

The sensors will be fine, the speaker for the beeps is in the B pillar passenger side. The reversing graphics (and climatronic graphics for that matter) will NOT appear on the MFD2 screen.

To be honest, you will miss it for about 5 minutes and no more

I have an MFD3 and aas mentioned the graphics do NOT appear on the display. The beeps work as normal however. As mentioned after about 5 mins you will not miss the graphics at all.

Why dont you get the graphics & climate info?

The MFD2 simply does not have the capability to display it, the MFD3 (Columbus) does but needs a lot of extra work including wiring and replacing the relevent ECU's with later versions.

To be honest, the graphics are a gimmick and nothing else, the last thing you should be doing is squinting at a tiny green screen in the centre console when reversing :nono:
