Report on Armster Armrest for Octy 2

Featured Replies

I've just fitted one to my 08 Estate. Bought it on ebay because I had a voucher (so it only cost me £65), it also can be had for the same list price of £79 & free p&p from:

Armster Center Armrest [ARM-AB] - £79.00 : CarStyle-BiTs.com, Premier Supplier of Motor Accessories

Its an armrest  which is exactly what I wanted, ....don't want MP3, don't want electrics or cooling, just somewhere for my elbow & sunglasses (Ambiente doesn't have the sunglasses holder)......

...... it has a reasonable amount of storage space, is height-adjustable, and an almost identical shade of charcoal to my console.

Perfectly adequate strength-wise, athough I wouldn't trust it with my full bodyweight leaning through my elbow (e.g. as if I was reaching in from the driver's door and fetching something from the passenger seat).

Drill 4 (3.5mm) holes and fit in less than 5 mins.

I didn't want to afford the 120 euros + shipping for:

Octavia II - storage armrest for cars without jumbo-box - MARTINEK : Skoda Tuning = superskoda.com

, partly through cost and partly because it doesn't appear to be height adjustable.

The only drawback appears to be that if you have short arms and have the driver's seat at max height, it won't adjust high enough... but that's OK for me, cos I have neither.

Hope you find this useful.

Sounds good - will you be able to post a picture ?
