Just reading Chrysler now want another $21.6 billion on top of the $17.4 billion they have already recieved.

In my opinion Chrysler was a dead dog years ago, should the US government bail them out even more? It also plans on cutting models from its line up, so whats the point exactly? Even the models they are keeping are pants compared to what european manufacturers have to offer! Have you ever driven a 300C?? :eek:

Never been a fan of the DaimlerChrysler group, perhaps with the exeption of Mitsubishi and some Mercs. I find Dodge/Chrysler to be cheap and nasty, heavy depriciators and rubbish engines (Most have torque really high in the rev band), only ones I would have are those with the VW Sourced TDI's. And I think they are expensive for what they are

As for the 300c, couldn't expect more from an old Merc E class underneath. We all know what happens to manufacturers that keep re-hashing old designs (Just think of Rover). i think they should be denied any help whatsoever. Why should we give them another $21.6 billion to waste away when this could provide so many people in the 3rd world with essentials

The 300c took the best parts from the E class , i was quite impressed with it to be honest , it looks fantastic as well.

But lets be realistic, how much money that's provided for the 3rd world actually gets to the poor people?? Surely the money could be utilised better in something else? Stem cell research? Eco friendly fuel research?

They sell crap anyway. Considering how many cars they sell, they could at least TRY. The Japanese and Germans manage it.
