Lambda sensor

Featured Replies

Just come across some Lambda sensors on a popular internet auction website described as being genuine Bosch for £50. Price seems good considering cheapest I've seen elsewhere is around £80, non genuine fail before the next MOT version would probably be £40, and at a dealer's no doubt over £100.

Apparently Bosch say the service interval for the sensor is 100k miles. Well mine has long passed that. I was thinking as they seem relatively cheap I could try replace it for the sake of it, in the hope of small improvements in performance/fuel economy. Or would it be pretty much a waste of time unless an emissions test suggests the sensor is not working properly?

what type of sensor is it?? any narrow band sensor will do, german and sweedish do them for about £40

If I've got my eyes on the correct one these are the details... Haven't the slightest clue beyond that :) I assume it will be the same as on the Felicia 1.3 spi and only differences in all the part numbers are wire length and the socket on the end.

Part Number: 0258003666

Short Code: LS3666

Type Formula: LSH-24

Sensor Location: Front

Number of Cables: 4

Length (mm): 545
