Sometimes I think Fifth Gear tries too hard to outdo Top Gear - this is an example - a proper test and comparison would have been much more meaningful, and probably as entertaining

I can't help but thinking his practice in the Golf helped up the time in the Octavia.

That Golf was a DSG so the times would have been closer if both were manual.
