Hi All

I stumbled upon this site in my search for more information on the new Superb, which I think I'm likely to be going with for my next company car due in September. I found loads of really useful information on this site so wanted to drop a line to say thanks.

I think Skoda are onto a winner with the new Superb, with so many manufacturers dropping hatchbacks (why??) there are very few quality motor hatchbacks out there. I've curently got aToyota Avensis T180, which I've been pleased with but can't believe the new model is only saloon or estate. Likewise why do Mazda not do their top of the range luxury sport model in a hatch? Saab's another one who dropped the hatch a little while agio on the 93.

10/10 to Skoda for identifying the need here.

Glad the site's of use! Welcome! :wavey:

Hi there and welcome. My boss got one of the first through (cr 170 with all the toys) he came from a A4 3.0 twin turbo tdi. He says its the best thing he ever did. Try and find the article Autocar did about 4 weeks ago on the Superb/A6/Flying spur/ BMW 7. It makes very good reading and the Superb comes out top and quieter than the bentley inside!. :)

Welcome. I completely agree with your comment about the lack of hatchbacks.

welcome along, the only gripe i had was wanting a car between the fabia and octy sizes
