im gonna go out on a limb here and say both of you who dont get the point of an atmospheric dv are over the 25...

its normally a younger person thing, but do believe this people bov soon get on yer tits every gear change (especially on the octavia) even those morning you aint feeling gr8 and aint hammering the car about its still gonna go TSHHHHH at every opertunity.

its one of those marmite things, you either love them or hate them.

21. Nice quiet Bailey DV.

Love Marmite, BTW:D

I think I'm a little clearer now, king_j. And how did you guess I'm over 25?

PS: Also love Marmite - but prefer the sort of wooshy noise a serviceable jet engine makes to any other sort.

heres a pic of the dv we fitted.

In similar vein, i tend to lump Marmite & Cruise sites together.

I hate them both equally :)

Oh just to add...

I don't need a "whooshy" noise to let people know i have a turbo.

They tend to realise that i have one when i go past their plastic-laden ChavMobile at Warp 9.

Nuff said really ;)

PS

It's DE-CAT

True, I'm 27 tomorrow, but whoosh noises have never impressed me. It's not like I go to my 25th birthday, and suddenly started wearing comfy slippers and complaining about people whose cars go whoosh.

The only people that are gonna be impressed is the kind of people who thrash there cars around outside the local bowling alley, or sit at the back of McDonalds car park supping endless milkshakes and distorting the c**p out of every song they play through there sorry excuse for an ICE setup.

BTW...I love marmite :)

Cheers

cause such is life m8, this is what happens, you buy a turbo and you want people to know you have one....

But isn't it enough that you put your right foot down and accelerate away from much more expensive cars, without loads of additional noise?

I hate Marmite and other similar products, but love malt extract (with or without codliver oil) ;)

monkey hanger thanks for the spelling lesson.....nowt good to say so you pic off the punctuation....big up yersel why dont you, also you fly past them at warp 9....eh ok you realise its a skoda you have and not a porche m8, id be very surprised to see any skoda doing anywhere near any star trek speeds..

you all seem to think cause i run and get an income from a cruise site that i am some young ned/chav (as you call them) with a nova were as you could not be further from the truth, i simply came on here to try and dipurse some speculations about dvs and turbo charged systems.... not a debate about why people have them.

Then i suggest next time you join a site to spread some of your "knowledge" that you don't start by insulting members who might just have "been there & done that".

By the way, you'd be surprised how quick some of our cars are, and i'm not talking about saturday night down by the sea front and traffic light GP's.

big up yersel...

Did this guy just say "big up"

And BTW...if we were going to PICK at your punctuation, we'd be here all day :D

is there a how to guide to fit this? any any pics?

i came on here to sort out some things, i did say in my first post if you go back to then (b4 all this crap started) and read i said i did not mean to insult/offend anyone.

also can you show me one of these rare "fast cars" you have on here, im sorry but for what ive seen its a few hundred pounds spend at jabba and your all ferrari eatters, i drive a fast car m8 not a saxo or corsa, i drive a nissan 200sx s14a 2ltr turbo and its driven by the correct set of wheels. i have raced many a vw/seat/audi with this engine and all have been guttless, id be very happy for you to prove me wrong my car is pretty much standard and pushes out 240ish bhp and i have driven a vrs octavia and there was no comparison bewteen the too.

so b4 you talk to me about fast cars and how i race down a see front (i live no where near a sea front by the way) id check the facts, also if youd like a check to see the fast car you talk about bring it to pod on the 10th of next month and well see.

I would hope that Bailey provide appropriate fitting instructions with it. And on that final note this thread is closed TFN.
