im bored and after a project, so, what do i need to replace the rear drums with discs? ive heard of mk2 golf rear disks.

i believe the mk4 golf ones do im not to sure about the mk2 though

how sure are you about them fitting? how do i go about doing it? would i be able to use the handbrake cable as standard?



more than 80% of the braking happens on the front wheels so there wont be much functional benefit to upgrading to disks apart from the aesthetics maybe?!

thanks, i just really need to know what bits to use and if i can just use the original cable leading to the callipers

it shouldnt be too dificult im very handy with a spanner and it doesnt look past my ability. i just hope theres a cheaper option than replacing the rear beam
