Every time I get a remark about my car it's from a delivery driver or a lorry driver who turns up at my house and sees the car parked up - comments like 'blimey they've come a long way haven't they', 'nice car mate' and 'Good cars, those'.

A couple of months ago I even had some randomly ask if it was for sale .

Anyone else get a lot of comments from van/lorry drivers?

i had one pass me on the motorway, point at the car and give the thumbs up.

Yes we had a new suite delivered,and one of the blokes asked my better half who's the VRS was outside,she said it was mine.

He said good cars them a bit lively too

Very strange indeed, 2 weeks ago my parents got a knock on the door from the postie asking who's the Fabia was as they liked it, and asking about my wheels. (had TT comps on)

Quite chuffed

Some guy came around delivering leaflets for the local rally and he asked my Mum who's car was that (pointing at the Fabia) and she said "what the Skoda? That's my son".

He replied "That's not just any Skoda, tell your son he has good taste"

To be fair, even though I've been ribbed a few times by my mates, usually the conversation comes to an abrupt end when someone just says "Ah only joking mate they're just a VW for smart people nowadays"

I get a lot of boy racers admiring the VRS, at least those that understand how clever a concept it is. White van man seems interested as well, must be a diesel thing

i get "cant beleive thats a skoda, to beleive they were the butt of all jokes" and "wow thats a nice car" then realising its a skoda lol.

You also get the looks when driving, we had a driver earlier looking at my car as he drove towards us and you could see the look on his face to say what car is that lol.
