Well, I saw my first 09 plate today, after he pulled out in front of me. It was a VW van from the wifes work place............

I saw another today - Toyota (golf sized thing).

There are certainly more about than you'd think if you believed the doom mongering press.... They seem to be doing their best to talk this recession into a depression...

Had to fly up to Glasgow on Thursday, picked up the hire car and it was an 09 plate Polo with 10 miles on the clock.

Saw 3 today - Ford Focus convertible, Nissan X-Trail type thing and an Audi A6 Avant. I've seen way more 09's than 58's when they just came out....

When I first read that I wondered why a Golf R32 was a Europcar hire car but you meant a vauxhall insignia, daft name.
