Symphony MP3/CD headunit

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if this headunit powers/works the CD changer in the boot of my vRS ?

I'm sick of having a tape player in my car, so thought I'd upgrade to one of these if it works

I bought a symphony CD headunit for mine as of the same reasons, but I wanted to keep the standard look.

Its the same design as the tape cassette head unit & it also works the CD changer in the boot too:thumbup:

Great, thanks for that mate

I put a Symphony CD/MP3 headunit in my Octavia, works the CD changer just like the standard one.

Is this just a later version of the tape playing Symphony head unit, but with a CD player?

If so what year would I be looking for to get Mp3 compatibility? My current changer (2001) doesn't recognise Mp3 type discs, but if I could get a later head unit to play them that would be brilliant.
