Engine cover part

Featured Replies

As a result of my last service, the garage lost the rubber part that the engine cover slots into along with nut. The engine cover tends to work itself lose now and float around.

I will visit my local dealer tommorrow but I was just wondering if anyone knew if the rubber part is available on its own?

Cheers Luke

No idea, but the basic approach should be "you lost a bit and now this happens; you fix it!" Start by asking nicely, but remember that it was their mistake, and it is their legal responsibility to fix it!

Yeh you can def just get a new rubber bung because i bought one from a Skoda dealer last year when mine was so rounded it wasn't serving a purpose

By the way Luke, Great shout on the seat cleaning place. A tenner and look like new!!!!

No problem! ;)

Thanks for that, I'll drop by the dealer tommorrow and get it sorted. I need to pick up a few other bits anyway.
