Hi All

Got myselfa Columbus unit and tried to install....

Two questions.....

1. It's asking me for a code.....I don't have one even for my old radio (MP3 Stream)

2. Language is in Spanish....anyway to change this?

All help apprciated. ,

Unit should have been supplied with the CODE; assuming its from a reputable source!

Language is selectable when you have it up and running.

Ok, I have e-mailed the seller, thanks for your help

Once you have the code, bung it in and then use the setup button to change the language. The option you are looking for will say "Idioma" with Espanol next to it, just select and scroll to english.

Are you sure the code wasn't written on the chassis somewhere - That is the norm for eBay sourced units.

Doh!!! Yup, there it is........:o

Thank you all, I'll have a go at it over the weekend.

I would make a note of the code somewhere else once its verified as working, then remove the sticker from the headunit. Or remove the sticker and re-attach it to your car owners manual.

All fitted in now and appears to be working fine.

SWMBO has seen it running and now wants one for her car. Now she has an earlier car than mine 56 plate MY07 Octy without jumbo box or aux in. Presumably it should be a straight swap?? As I believe there are some pin swapping issues on earlier Octy 2s.

Should be a straight swap, you may need to check the CD changer ground connection but thats it. Mines fine in a 55 plate.

Sounds expensive!!
