hahahaha I created this topic when the last EPG was about to be released and it's seen the light of day again now the new 2012 EPG has been launched!!!!

The only boxes that have the new EPG currently are all the Amstrad boxes. Samsung and Pace boxes are currently in beta testing and should be updated by the end of November.

I'm waiting to see how it runs on our Pace box and how it handles the new EPG before continuing with my on-going discussions with Sky about trying to get a new 2TB box for £49 rather than the £149 they want me to pay.

Ah divvunt kna Bonny lad.

Tried getting up iPlayer up n running today. It's quite tricky really. I thought it would be a case of plugging a network cable into the sky box and connecting up to the router but I was denied!

You have to go online and order the on demand package which costs nowt, then go to the settings on the box and switch on the broadband connection and the download service.

Seems to work ok now but more clunky than the other built in iPlayer apps I've used.

Our Pace box updated to the new EPG last night. The wife has been using it all day and says the only issue she's noticed is that the fast forward/rewind is a little jerky/stuttery.

I've just had a quick look and button responses seem pretty good so will have a proper play this evening.
