Rear Wiper blade???

Featured Replies

My VRS needs a new rear wiper blade. But I have none listed for Bosch or the Halfords own ones?? Do I have to go back to the main Stealer?

Yep. They're not expensive though.

I went to Skoda and expected to have my leg lifted but no it was £4.17 inc vat.

I fitted the polo aero one to the back of mine :) seems to clean it a lot better than the standard one before it. was 15 notes for the arm + blade although it did require slight modification!

Where did you get from? Was it from a VW dealer and what slight mod did you do? I wondered about doing it recently when I changed the rear motor. Do you or anyone know if an aero wiper from a Fabia II will fit?

I got my rear one from vagparts. Theres a linky in here and some more info:

The cap that covers the nut and rear jet thing is a little bit too high to clip down properly. I used my sharp gerber knife and some sand paper to trim it down a bit... pretty easy to do took about 15 mins to swap.

Yes, got it from Pulmans in Durham. £22 approx...

Fits easily, it's the old one that's a bit of a bugger to get off...

It comes in 3 parts, the arm, the wiper and the cap which is the part that needs sanding down a little as it'll scratch the window when you the wiper operates...

I need one of these:thumbup:

Is the Polo arm from a particular Polo model?

Cheers

I *think* its...

Polo MkIV (aka Mk6, VW 9N, 2002–)

its either that one or the one after

I tried to look it up on vagparts... but i didn't realise they had to stop trading in december :( they had great service too and decent prices.

Not strictly on topic I know but is anyone elses rear wiper motor on their Fabia quite noisy?

Had mine on all day today on the way back and noticed how noisy the actual MOTOR is (not the place) it makes a mechanical whirring noise with every stroke is this normal?
