Just parked up my ould trusty golf and changed to skoda.:eek: from the neighbours who ave been seeing the mk 2 thundering the roads the past 15 years.

Just discovered Briskoda this week. Tons of cracking advice and helpful stuff on here! 2nd best thing I've ever done.......1st best thing will be to p/ex my old Scooby Forester for either a Octavia vRS Diesel estate or a Scout. But which one? I like the idea of 4WD on tap when needed, but also the quick vRS too............any advice?

Plenty of usefull advise and tips here.You would'nt be long putting in an evening on it.Friend of mine had an 06 4wd 1.9tdi 6speed estate good car to hold the road from what i can remember.

Hello I have completely drained the cooling system to replace the coolant in my 1.4 MPI. To refill my Haynes manual says to remove the temperature sensor from the cylinder head to allow air to escape. I pulled out the clip and then lifted out the sensor which came out by pulling. I then filled the system until coolant was seen in the sensor hole. I then the replaced the sensor but noticed coolant leaking from it. On inspection noticed that the sensor was able to move up and down with the clip in

I have a rattle as stated above, we diagnosed it today as front brake pads rattling in the carriers. 2014 Fabia vrs, proving very difficult to source oem correct new carriers in red, I have ordered some from Autodoc and will paint them before we fit them It initially sounded like exhaust contacting chassis or loose subframe fasteners

Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Hello! With the Heat we are experiencing in these days in Italy (more than 30º) I decided to use the the aircon, as last Summer it was really wonderful BUT with my surprise it doesn’t work! I thought there was no gas in the tank but test said there was; I also put new from the beginning but nothing changed: Skoda mechanic told me he doesn’t hear the compressor starting. Thinking to the works I made on the car, I realized I replaced the climatronic panel with the one with heated seats and since
