I've been fiddling with the Climatronic recently trying to get things like the car speed and sunlight sensor values to display but not having much luck.

Instead of the diagnostics menu mentioned in other posts on this forum I only get an option to switch between blocks 00-09 with the temp buttons and adjust (some of) them from +99 to -99 with the fan speed buttons. As far as I can see each block controls one of the individual flaps for the various vents round the car (block 04 is the drivers vent, block 06 is the under passenger seat vent etc.)

I tried it on some of the other members Octys on Friday night with the same result (one of them was even a Climatronic unit retrofitted from a VW). So am I doing something wrong? Or has this feature been disabled on all our cars? :confused:

I have done this on my Octy in the past, so I know it works, but I can't remember what combination of buttons I need to press. If you remind me, I'll give it a whirl on mine.....

Yep, thats the combination of buttons I'm pressing. Cold temp button, fan speed down and ECON. But I'm only getting 9 options, and none of them look like sensor readings or speed. It was the same on the other three Mk1 Octys I tried. :confused:

(I'm trying to find out if my sunlight sensor is working btw)
