You best bet is to find a local 'dent master' place. They come to you and get the dent out without requiring paint etc. They usually charge around £50 which will be alot cheaper than getting it filled and sprayed.

Sorry to see the dent Octygone but like has been suggested find someone like these guys that cover your area:

Excel-Dents

I have used these guys before when I have had a few cars to detail with a few dents in..............

Or have a chat with your local ChipsAway franchise.

Phil

you could try a hair dryer and can of keyboard dirt remover... Hold the can upside down and spray away over the dent till its basically frozen, then whack on the heat from a hairdryer and this will suddenly warm it up enough to pop out the dent. have found this link that might be of use http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miNykNl-0NM and if it dont work you havent lost

It does not work on small dents or dings anyway :) it only really works on larger dent's where the metal may not have stretched to much.

I need to find a dent place as well as I have a small ding on the vRoomster and it's really bloody annoying where it is after some daft cow in a Tourag wanged her door open and banged mine.

Where are you based Fluffmeister as i know a local dent devil who does the skipton area who is very good

I am in Warrington mate, but work in Leeds every now and again so any contact details would be great

As with most things it depends on the size and how bad it is but I had three removed from one of my wings for a 'special' price so couldn't comment exactly, best to give them a call mate..........Steve was the guy that did mine............

I used Exceldent to remove a golf-ball sized dent from the rear door of my Fabia.

£40 he charged me and it looks brand new.

they put like a pad behind the panel, then tap the dent with a wood thing, and then it just pushes out like magic. Only took about 15 mintues

i was just wondering if its £50, or £150 mark as i wouldnt want to waste their time quoting if it was big money.

Around the first figure mate.............;)

If you know anyone else with dents its worth getting a price to get two or more of you fixed up at the same time.

These guys have to charge travel time and cost - its better if that can be spread between a few of you.

I was lucky I'd had this dent bugging me for ages rang up about it and they wanted £70! to fix it so just left it,

Then about 6 months later I was walking home and the guy next door was having a dent removed his Saab, so just got chatting and showed the guy my dent and he said yeah no problem I'll take that out good as new for 40 quid.

perhaps it be something to do get a dentmaster a member of this site and get them to turn up every 3 months to a skoda meet... meaning he gets a good days work and we get it cheap ;) and everyones happy
