Advice on changing from Diesel to petrol L&K

Featured Replies

Want some advice. I have a 2007 2.0 TDI DSG L&K Estate. And want to get advice on changing to either another 2.0TDI DSG L&K estate or 1.8 Petrol DSG L&K Estate.I only do about 8000 miles per year ( I know its low but I need the estate to carry my disabled daughter and her Electric scooter and wheel chair also I want the comfort of the L&K )

So What about economy, running costs. and part exchang etc and better value for money.

Thanks in advance

1.8 TSI every time!

i've just gone from the 2.0 TFSi to 2.0 PD170 DSG and as a daily drive the PD170 wins it every time

SWMBO currently drives a vRS TDI and wants an L&K next time round, we have decided on the 1.8TSI due to her low mileage commute. The TSI variant is cheaper straight out of the blocks and given the (current) difference in fuel prices a petrol is making alot of sense right now.

I would opt for the TSI over the PD140

And I want a nice petrol turbo car available to me from time to time ;)

8k per year? it is a no brainer...petrol...
