You will need :

1 Star Screwdriver/TORX 15 bit.

A thin blade (i made my own but a butter knife or credit card might do the job)

Firstly to remove the facia press and open the ash tray hatch door put your fingers between the door and the facia above.

With fingers now behind facia ease it toward you till it give abit.

Now ease a blade/credit card down the facia edge and lever the facia toward you a little (go carefully).

Once the facia is removed you need to remove the four corner screw covers.

Your probably best using a credit card for this bit so you don't scatch the facia.

Put the blade/credit card down the side of the cover and ease outwards a tiny bit then you should be able to pull it free by hand, repeat with the other three.

You will now be able to see the TORX screw tobe removed.

WARNING when removing this screws either put bluetac on the end of the TORX bit or put abit of card/paper beneath(or both) before starting as there is a tiny hole that the screw will fall through into the radio facia.

Once these are removed slowly draw the head unit out as far as the wires will allow.

To remove the aerial plug grab with finger and thumb the top and bottom of the plug and squeeze as you pull it free as there is a little lever on the bottom of the plug.

The rest of the wires come out as one when you pull a plastic lip beneath the plugs.

Pull back and up abit.

Pictures has gone

The pictures are all still there, but it would seem hotlinking to them has been disabled by picassa. You can still view them by getting the image url and pasting it into your address bar.

This looks great, I'm going to use this guide when I fit my iphone adapter that Father Christmas is bringing me!

can a pinned post be made containing a list of guides like this please?

i just spend like 2 hours trying to work out how things came off, and even stupid things like finding the 4 screws (damn those covers for hiding them)

this would have been a massive help to me.....2 hours ago :p

Is there clarification of which Torx driver is required? I'll have to buy one for the job....
