Could we make this a "stickie" and add the cupra console bushes in. Seems that alot of folk need these part numbers

Legend! Just what I need!

If anyone gets current prices (like today) for the bushes or other Seat items then I'll add them to the first post. Saves another same-subject thread being started, and saves new readers reading the whole thread if it grows.

My reponse from a Cornish SEAT dealer:

My parts staff have checked prices for you, we dont have any in stock but they usually arrive 2-3 days from day of order.

1ML 805 903 - Leon Cupra front splitter = £21.59 inc.

6LL 407 183 - Cupra Console Bushes = £8.29 inc.

6L0 071 710 - Ibiza Momo Front Strut Brace = £55.00 inc.

Seems they were planning on stitching me on the strut brace but the part number for the bushes is above

1ML 805 903 - Leon Cupra R Front Splitter = £21.59 inc. VAT

6LL 407 183 - Ibiza Cupra Console Bushes = £8.29 inc. VAT

6L0 071 710 - Ibiza MOMO Strut Brace = £53.83 inc. VAT

6LL 129 621 - Ibiza Cupra Intake Trumpet = £15.96 inc. VAT

6LL 129 618 - Ibiza Cupra Intake Pipe = £60.31 inc. VAT

So this is the list of the most commonly requested part numbers?

I would say so...

Could a Mod make this a "stickie"?? Ease of reference etc ;)

I picked up the strut brace and the splitter from 'Coupers' in St. Albans, Hertfordshire this morning.

For some reason they gave me a 10% discount, so the final costs were:

Ibiza MOMO Strut Brace - 6L0 071 710 - £49.51 inc VAT

Leon Cupra R front splitter - 1ML 805 903 - £19.42 inc VAT

Hopefully I can fit them at the weekend :)

Now I have to find some Hammerite 'Smooth Green' for the brace!

I know a Seat dealer who you can email who hangs around on SeatCupra.net I just ordered the PD160 trumpet and pipe for £64 including delivery.

Am I allowed to post up his details?

I don't see why not. I'm not a mod or anything so can't say. But it's not like the dealer himself is coming on here fishing for business. Either way, please PM me the details as that's me next mod :)

Cheers!

PM'd

Silly question- were do the console bushes go and how many will you need? is it 2?

Am I allowed to post up his details?
Yes. :)

6J Ibiza Short Aeriel mast - 6J0 035 849

Been after one of these since the New Ibiza was launched, The rest of the SEAT range are being fitted with these now,

Retains the OEM look without the Tamiya RC car look.

And it's anti-theft too!

Which is handy as I've twice come out in the morning to find my S2000 partially unscrewed!

How much shorter is it MikeSM56?

I've seen pics of the new Ibiza and there doesn't seem a lot of difference!

Saying that, it could be my eyes mind or the dodgy picture I was looking at! :)

Looks considerably shorter in situ

Funny, I was wondering if anyone had a pic. Nice one Mike

Thanks for the tip off Mike,

Would say, going by the reception still working, it's exactly 25% shorter.

And most likely exactly 25% longer than a Honda aerial ;)

two questions......

1) what are the advantages of having SEAT Leon Cupra console bushes fitted over std OEM bushes?

2) is the Cupra splitter purely a cosmetic mod or does it have any true aerodynamic advantages?

Two answers

1) They last

2) No, but by chance if they did you would never notice.
