Howdy everyone, I am so glad I found this forum. As well as being full of valuable information and friendly advice it is also quite fun as well. I am sure I will enjoy my time here and hopefully will be able to contribute.

Thanks for the welcome. It is a great forum and I am sure I will enjoy my time here.

PS. There is not a heap of Skodas down here yet but hopefully people will get out of the Holden/Ford way of thinking and get some class . Unfortunately Skoda couldn't have picked a worse time to reintroduce the brand, with the global financial situation being as it is.

Nick

G'day!

Welcome :)

The second one from Oz today, welcome along:)

Yep hopefully.

Drove a holden commodore 3.8 v6 while out there and although it went like stink it was bloody awful awful to drive!

I bet you catch a few of them of guard sometimes! hehe

Phil

G'day mate, good to have you on board

Phil, yeah the Commodores are not real fun to drive, except maybe the HSV ones. The normal commodores seem to feel like they go like stink but they really are not very quick at all. Besides that, waaaaaaay too many of them, I like a bit of individuality.

Once again, cheers for the welcome Fellas

Hehe. Yeh tried it on a couple of times with some of the beafy turbo ones in our Hyundai getz 1.6 hire car :P

And yes... did feel like it was going some (probably due to the auto box and torque converter) but when you looked at the clocks you really weren't going fast at all!

Glad you havn't followed the masses and got a proper car!

Phil
