Was planning on having this done soon along with new drop links...

Just wondered how much you guys paid and where? Did you have the front wishbone bushes replaced too? :)

Dudley in the west mids, not far from birmingham! Was tempted to have a go, but i'm missing half the tools and knowing me i'd screw up and leave myself stranded

well i'm up near preston with full workshop facilitys, the offer is still open but i'm not doing it all for you, prepare to get your hands dirty:D

Sorry not really got apoint to this post but just wanted to say that is a very generous offer by oilburninnut.

I am a vw technician so will do the bushes my self but was just well impressed with this very selfless act.

A big pat on the back

+1 Good to see offers of help.

I've got a bit of ironing that needs doing when you're finished Gary!

You will have to supply him with gallons of tea, and 20 fags an hour, as well as putting up with his insane ramblings........( he's certifiable, definately ).

You'ld be better off doing it yourself fella....:D

bought the front and rear bushes myself roughly £50 and £110 for fitting.

I'll be having mine fitted free courtesy of my brother lol :D

Definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty! I've done general things like changing brake discs and pads before... I also had some work experience at a local garage.

The only thing that stops me is the cost of the equipment and the chances of me knackering something up in the process! I can't get to my work without a car.

Very grateful for the offer! I'll probably get the bits ordered soon come pay day and drop you a pm to see if you're still up for it :) Wish you lived closer than 2 hours away though lol I get the feeling i'm the only person on these forums in the west mids

no probs, only moved into the unit last week so a little to sort out yet,but it won't be a problem when all the tools are moved in:rofl:

Just so you know,

£120 for Cupra console bushes

£160 for Cupra console bushes and Powerflex wishbone bushes

£200 for Cupra console bushes, Powerflex wishbone bushes and Powerflex ARB bushes.

All inc parts and labour and a geo check afterwards.
