Is it odd that my car hasnt (according to the service history) had a spark plug change so far ?

Whilst 50K miles is an interim, I notice in the service schedule in the book is says that every 60K Km the fuel filter and spark plugs should be changed, so assuming this hasnt been done yet should I ask for that on top of an interim service ?

diesel fuel filter replacement at 40k

Just get your interim service along with a Fuel Filter as the VRS Fabia doesnth ave spark plugs due to it being a diesel and instead uses glow plugs.

Ta chaps, so interim service + fuel filter by the sounds of it (cant see any evidence that fuel filter was changed at 40K).

That's not actually true. Instead of spark plugs diesels use compression ignition. The glue plugs are to help it start in cold temperatures.
