Drivers-side window wont open!

Featured Replies

Hey guys! 1st post.

As the weather has been rather nice the last couple days i have been keeping the windows down, but this morning i got in my car and it would only wind down half way!

i was like :o

any idea's what it is. Im not very good with fixing it, but also have no money! sum1 said it might be the mechanism but it wind's down half way fine and when it gets there it feels like it does when it gets to the bottom normally.

(not electric btw)

You will need to remove the door card and check the window regulator, hasnt come adrift, or somthing hasnt jammed

Hey, i have opened it up. There is al black bar going landscape across the door and it seems the window is stuck on that. I think maybe the bar that the window slides down on is slightly bent. I am going 2 try and bend it back. hopefully that will fix it.
