Had the car parked up for a couple of weeks when I was away on a trip recently. Came back to the car park and found the rear brakes stuck on when I released the handbrake and tried to drive off. Had to rock the car forward and back to get them to unstick, but it has been fine since then.

Is it easily solvable on my own, or should I get the local garage to have a look?

If you leave the car for a long period of time, leave it in gear with the handbrake off. I normally leave my car in gear regardless
