Hi,newbie here-hope someone can help!

I have va 2005 tdi octavia,it needs a new engine.

I had bought one from a breaker in liverpool called kirbycar sales-but they have bben messing me about for 2 weeks now.They have my money(£775)....and 2 weeks later i still have no engine.long story short id visa and police are involved.......anyways....need a new engine-my engine code is ALH,can anyone give me a definitive list of what is compatible and what is not??(i have teh possibility to buy an engine here in Glasgow with the AWX code)

Looks like the AWX was fitted to the Superb and is 131hp, there is a list of engine codes and applications here:
