just bought a 2002 octavia vrs. Totally chuffed with my new machine i forgot about the caravan. I just want to know will it be ok to pull my 2008 sprite alpine 4 birth caravan weight of caravan is 999kg and just under 21 foot long

The permissible trailer weight with brakes is 1300kg and the permissible 'nose' weight is 60kg. You should be more than OK towing a 999kg caravan.

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that. Hoping to purchase a 2.0l TSi Sportline/Laurin & Klement variant at some point soon. My budget may result in me seeking out a vehicle with 95K onwards on the clock. I’ll be only considering something with a full comprehensive service history. My understanding is that I shouldn’t worry about cam chain tensioners as they go on and on. But do they? So is there anything I should really looking out for? Thanks
