Got car out the garage this morning and went to put some gear in the boot and it won't open, every other door in the car works fine. Any ideas as to what could be wrong and is it something i could do myself to fix and if not any ideas on cost?

Can you feel any resistance in the lever when you try to open it? Hatchback or estate? You may have to climb in the back and open it from the inside.

Nope no resistance at all, and its a hatchback.

try locking and unlocking the car a few times. Used to happen with my Mk4 golf
