Windows jammed open!

Featured Replies

Window is jammed open.

Searched and found that it may be the regulator which is £77 from dealer and pretty hard to fit.

How hard is getting the door card off?

If the regulator cables are broken you will be able to pull the window back up and jam it shut.

Not taken a door card off the Fabia yet, shouldnt be too difficult though.

door card is easy it whats behind its a pain in the ar$e

Can't help with the DIY approach, but I had mine fixed by the stealers a few weeks back. Don't know old your car is, or it's history but due to my FSSH, and perhaps the age of the car (3 years and 3 months with 53k) Skoda chipped in 35% towards the cost. Worth a go if you do go down the non-DIY route.
