Fabia 2 Blueline Auxilary Volume Issue

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Had the 58 plate Fabia Blueline for a couple of months now. One issue I have noticed is that when I stick my ipod through the Aux it does work however I have to crank up the volume on the ipod to near enough maximum and the car volume to about half way (15, if that means anything) to get a decent level of sound out of the speakers. First I thought it might be the 3.5mm cable but tried it with another cable still the same result, Does anyone else have similar issues? The volume is fine for CD or Radio btw.

Thanks.

Hi............We too have a Blueline (09) and I think there are Aux1/aux2/aux3 settings in the menu....I think you have to select one of these to play/use the aux plug........" I may be wrong though " Perhaps it needs it's own channel

Correctomundo :)

Repeated presses of the aux button take the volume levels up

Thanks ppl for a prompt reply,

I did try that suggestion out today I put it on "AUX 3" which should cater for MP3 players was a slight improvement but still have to put the volume on my ipod to the max get a decent level of sound. However I connected my blackberry to the aux and it gave a slightly better sound level but still had to put the volume near enough 90%. Think I need to bug the dealer about this.

I had the same problem - a PocketDock was the way forward. It's partly to to the headphone outlet not being the best means of connection.
