Panbot's Clio 1.6 16v Dynamique+

Featured Replies

Bought my second car a few weeks ago to upgrade from my 1.0 corsa and thought i'd share it. May not be great but to me it is. Thanks for looking.

Car

2002 Clio 1.6 16v Dynamique + 3dr.

Engine

1.6 16v with Green Filter (For added mental power :P).

Transmission

Standard clutch and 5 speed gearbox.

Suspension

Standard suspension and worn ARB Bushes (uprated bushes lined up).

Brakes

New mintex front pads and Q+H ventilated discs (standard).

Wheels & Tyres

2 Clear Tyres on front (brand not colour) and 2 BF Goodrich on rear with standard 15 inch alloys.

Styling

All exterior badges were black when I bought the car. Side trims color codedn and silver model badges which i purchased to replace the plain black ones already fitted. Renaultsport front grille already fitted and a front lip spoiler also fitted prior to buying. Quite like them as they make the car look sporty whilst still being tasteful. Also have some Osram nightbreakers in which are very bright.

Interior

All the standard bits. Returned to standard after aluminium trims had been painted black and gear insert has been color coded to match the silver trim. Richbrook silver tax disc holder and also an electric sunroof that no longer leaks. Will post pics when I have time.

ICE & Security

Alpine CD player with direct ipod connection, with steering wheel controls and a standard Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm :D.

Performance

Standard apart from green filter with bhp supposed to be 110 when new, 0-60 claimed at 9.3 seconds and top speed of around 120mph (havent tested and dont intend on it either). All I know is its fun to drive and mpg isnt that bad. Around 50mpg on a run according to the trip computer.

Future Plans

Get it through its first year and make sure theres nothing wrong with it mechanically and maybe make a few cosmetic changes and then probably leave it and save for something even better.
