hi all

well i've found this forum by accident but after poking around found it really usefull!! i'm now after my next motor (No 27) i think.) i thought i'd get by with wifes pd140 leon and my 182 but as my 2 week old son and shopping and pushchairs won't go near the clio ( too small!!) and the leon's only a medium size, i've decided that my next mode of transport will be a vrs octavia! ( when i find one!) i've been to local dealers and nothing, theres not much on t'auto trader, so just bideing ones time till i can find +px my 182 and move onto pastures new!

Planned modds, even tho i've not got it as yet i'm wanting to make it breath better wanting to heat the wastgate chatter ( i miss it, i used to have a scooby plus other petrol turbo'd cars!) nice sounding exhaust although i can't see any 3" systems, is there any??? I recently got the leon revo'd and it transformed the leon so may go down the same route ( its definately quicker than the clio which is annoying!) but the wife likes to remind me who's car is quicker!

thats about it,

string

Hiya.

It's been done to death, but you can't use an atmospheric wastegate on a VAG 1.8T engine.

i've heard that before, not sure if i want a "dumpvalve"sound but more wastegate chatter, ( there is a lad at work with a 1.8t ibiza and i'm sure he's got a valve thats part re-circ part atmospheric.) i think theres a forge 009??? better re-circ.? A good ind' kit would give the chatter and with a "revo" or equivalent, more boost pressure would = more sound me thinks.

Need to find said car first. thanks for input

A wander through the Octy 1 forum and Site Sponsors section should tell you what works and what doesn't in that respect.
